Orders, shipping & returns

How much does shipping cost, and when will it arrive?

Free standard shipping to all 50 states. No minimum.

2–5 business days to the 48 contiguous states once shipped; 10–14 to Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories. Expedited (2–3 business days) is available at checkout for contiguous addresses.

We pack 7 days a week, but carriers don’t collect on weekends or public holidays.

What if I notice I ordered the wrong weight, size, or item?

Reply to your order confirmation email straight away and tell us what you meant to order.

There’s roughly a two-hour window before stock is pulled for fulfilment. Inside it, we’ll change the order. Outside it, your 30-day guarantee covers the exchange instead.

How does the 30-day money-back guarantee work?

30 days from delivery, any reason — return or exchange.

Email care@aricove.com with your order number. We reply within 24–48 hours, 7 days a week, and send a prepaid return label. A $9.99 processing fee is deducted; return shipping itself is free. Refunds are initiated within one business day of your return arriving, then 5–7 business days at your bank.

Send back everything that came in the box.

This is a gift. Can they exchange it for a different weight, size, or item?

Yes, and you don’t need to be involved.

Have them email care@aricove.com with the warranty card from the box as proof of purchase. We’ll handle the exchange with them directly.

What if it arrives damaged, or something goes wrong later?

Email care@aricove.com with a photo and we’ll replace it. No fee.

Every Aricove product also carries a 3-year warranty against faults in materials and workmanship — seams, stitching, fill compartments, closures. Register it when it arrives and a claim takes one email.

Could I be sent a blanket someone else returned?

No. We have never resold a returned product and never will.

Returns are inspected, cleaned, and donated to a local charity — or recycled where local rules require. That’s what the processing fee pays for.

Weighted Blankets

Does a weighted blanket actually work, or is it just a trend?

It works through a studied mechanism called Deep Touch Pressure — gentle, even weight that shifts your nervous system from alert to rest. Peer-reviewed trials show measurable improvements in sleep quality and anxiety. It’s pressure therapy you sleep under, not a placebo.

Will it make me hot? I’m a warm sleeper.

This is the concern we hear most — and why we built ours differently. The twill-woven bamboo viscose shell wicks moisture and breathes, and superfine glass beads conduct less heat than the plastic pellets used in cheaper blankets.

Will I feel trapped or restricted under the weight?

Deep Touch Pressure feels like a firm hug — grounding, not pinning. You can roll over and move freely; the blanket moves with you. If it feels like a lot on night one, start with it over just your legs and work up. That adjustment is normal and passes quickly.

How do I know which weight to choose?

The right weight depends on both your body and the blanket size you choose — they work together, so a single rule of thumb won’t get you there. Our size & weight guide covers it in detail, and our free fit selector narrows it down in under a minute. The right match should feel like a firm hug, never a restraint.

What if I pick the wrong weight?

Start with our size & weight guide and free fit selector — they get most people to the right match. If unsure, reach out before you order and our team will be happy to assist. And if it still isn’t right, our 30-day guarantee covers an exchange or return — no debate, no hassle.

I’ve tried a weighted blanket before and didn’t get on with it.

Most people who write off weighted blankets had one of three problems: a weight that was wrong for them, a pellet-filled blanket that trapped too much heat, or they gave up before the adjustment period was over. All three are fixable. Use our fit selector to get the match right, and give it a try — the difference is usually the blanket, not you.

Small Weighted Blankets

Is 5 or 7 pounds really enough to feel anything?

Yes. In a study of 122 adults, a 5lb pad lowered anxiety and pulse rate on par with 14lb and 20lb blankets. Even contact settles the body — not poundage. And light enough to shift under is why people keep using it.

I already have a heavier weighted blanket. Why would I want this one?

Different jobs. A 20lb blanket lives on the bed and stays there. This one moves — chair, couch, car, suitcase. Plenty of customers own both and use them at different hours.

Can I use it during the day, or is it just for sleeping?

Most people use it more in the evening than overnight. Over the lap while reading, across the legs at a desk. In one study, twenty minutes was enough to measurably settle the nervous system.

Will it help with restless legs, aching joints, or a mind that won’t switch off?

These are the three reasons people reach for it most. Customers with restless legs notice the pressure across their legs first. Sore joints get contact without ache. And weight gives a racing mind something else to attend to.

Will it disturb my partner if we share a bed?

No — it covers you, not the bed, so nothing pulls away when you turn. The beads sit in sealed compartments and stay quiet. If you both want weight, one each beats sharing.

Is it safe for a child, or for an older parent?

Yes, with one condition: they must be able to push it off themselves, easily and every time. Both our sizes are light enough that most can. Check with your pediatrician if unsure.

Kids Weighted Blankets — Animal Kingdom

Does my child need a diagnosis for this to help, or will it work for a typical kid?

It works for any child who has trouble winding down or just loves feeling cozy — the calming pressure isn’t tied to a diagnosis. If it’s not the right fit, the 30-night trial has you covered.

What if my child feels confined, or doesn’t take to the weight right away?

At 5 and 7 lb it feels like a hug, not a restraint, and kids can move freely underneath. Ease in by using it over their legs at story time — most start reaching for it within a few nights.

Will my child actually use it, or end up ignoring it?

The animal print and matching booklet make it their blanket — kids name the animals and get attached fast. The carry case makes it the thing they bring to the couch, the car, and sleepovers.

My child is between weights or still growing — is it worth buying now?

Yes — size down when unsure, since a lighter blanket still calms and stays comfortable as they grow. Both sizes lie flat for years and are backed by a 3-year warranty.

Can my two kids share one, or do we need one each?

We recommend one per child — weighted blankets work best sized to each kid’s body, and sharing means one always misses out at bedtime. Many families order two prints so each child has their own to bring along.

Weighted Blanket Covers

How do I know which size I need?

Go by the dimensions of your blanket, not your bed. A 48"×72" blanket takes the Twin cover; a 60"×80" blanket takes the Full. The size is printed on the care label of your weighted blanket.

How long does it take to put on the cover?

About a minute once you’ve done it once. The zipper runs the full length of the long side, so the cover opens nearly flat and the blanket goes in without folding.

Can I put it in the washing machine and dryer?

Yes to both. Wash at up to 110°F with a mild liquid detergent, close the zipper first, and wash it on its own. Tumble dry at up to 110°F, or line dry for the best drape. Skip fabric softener and bleach.

How often should I wash it?

As often as you’d wash a duvet cover — most people land on every one to two weeks. That’s the whole point of having one.

Will it make me sleep warmer?

It’s woven rather than plush, and the bamboo viscose is breathable and moisture-wicking, so it’s designed not to. If you’ve slept under a minky or fleece cover before, this will feel noticeably different.

Will I feel the toggles at night?

No — they sit at the seam edges, away from the middle of the blanket. Owners consistently report not noticing them.

Body Pillow

Is it actually full body length — or will it arrive smaller than expected?

The Aricove Body Pillow measures 52 × 20 × 7 inches when fully expanded — long enough to support from shoulder to below the knee for most adults. It ships vacuum-compressed, so allow 4–6 hours after unboxing for the memory foam fill to fully expand to its stated dimensions. What you see is what you get.

Will it go flat after a few weeks like other body pillows I’ve tried?

Unlike polyester-fill pillows that compress and stay flat, the 85% crosscut memory foam fill holds its structure under your body’s weight night after night. If it ever loses its support profile over time, the fill is fully removable and refillable. Every purchase comes with 1 x complimentary 7oz fill pouch (valued at $24.95) upon request — so you can top it up the moment you want to.

What if it’s too firm or too soft for me?

The pillow arrives at medium-firm — a comfortable starting point for most side sleepers. If you want it firmer, every purchase comes with a complimentary 7oz fill pouch (valued at $24.95) — just email us and we will have it sent your way. For an ultra-firm feel, additional fill pouches are available to purchase separately. If you want it softer, simply unzip the inner shell and remove some fill. Most people find their preference within the first few nights.

Will it take over the bed and bother my partner?

At 52 × 20 inches, the Aricove sits comfortably on a queen or king without encroaching on your partner’s side. Because it runs along your body rather than across the bed, most partners report not noticing it at all. It stays where you put it — it doesn’t shift or migrate during the night.

I’m not pregnant and I’m not recovering from surgery. Is a body pillow actually useful for me?

Most Aricove customers are neither pregnant nor post-surgery. The most common reason adults buy this pillow is simply waking up with back, hip, or shoulder pain — or being unable to stay asleep through the night. If you’re a side sleeper who wakes up stiff, or someone who tosses and turns, this pillow was built for you.

How long until I feel a difference?

Most customers notice a change within the first few nights — particularly less tossing and turning and reduced morning stiffness. Give it at least a week before drawing conclusions; your body adapts to new support just as it adapts to a new mattress. If after 30 days it hasn’t made a difference, the trial covers you.

I run hot at night — will hugging a pillow make it worse?

The Tencel Lyocell cover is one of the most breathable natural fibres available — it wicks moisture away from your skin and allows airflow rather than trapping heat against your body. It won’t eliminate night sweats caused by other factors, but most customers who sleep warm report the cover doesn’t add to the problem the way synthetic-fill pillows do. Keeping your room cool helps with sleep temperature regulation in sleep.

Adjustable Bed Pillows

Which zone should I adjust first?

Usually the neck zone. It’s the one closing the gap between your head and the mattress, and it’s the one that determines whether you wake up sore. Check out our “How to set your zones” guide for more details.

How long before I know if it’s working?

Two to three nights per setting. Your neck has been compensating for an ill-fitting pillow; it needs a few nights to unwind. Change one thing at a time.

It arrived flat. Is that normal?

Yes — it’s vacuum-packed for shipping. Allow 4–6 hours to expand, occasionally up to 24. A short tumble on low speeds it up.

Does it have a smell out of the box?

Freshly cut memory foam occasionally carries a faint scent that dissipates within 24–48 hours in a well-ventilated room. Unzip the cover and air it out before the first night.

Will it go flat over time?

Crosscut memory foam resists the compression that flattens solid-foam pillows. If it ever feels dense, 10–15 minutes in the dryer on low restores the loft.

Is it firm or soft?

Both, by design. Firm support underneath from the crosscut foam; a soft surface from the microfiber and the 3D-knit lyocell. It ships at a neutral 5" across all three zones, which most people then adjust in one or two zones.

Extra Pillow Fill Pack

Do I need this if I’m buying an Aricove pillow?

Every Body Pillow and Adjustable Bed Pillow includes one complimentary 7 oz fill pack on request — just ask after you order. This is more for sleepers who’ve used theirs and want to go firmer still.

How firm is the Aricove pillow before I add anything?

It’s prefilled at medium-firm level that suits most sleepers out of the box, and designed so you can move it in either direction from there.

Will it match what’s already in my pillow?

Yes. It’s the identical 85% crosscut memory foam / 15% down-alternative microfiber blend, so the feel stays consistent when you mix it in.

Will I need to top it up over the years?

Not for a long time. Crosscut memory foam resists compression far better than loose polyfill, and the blend is built to hold its shape through years of nightly use. If you ever want to refresh the loft well down the track, the option is here — the same way it’s here if you simply want it firmer tomorrow.

Can I use it in a pillow that isn’t an Aricove?

If your pillow has an access zipper and a shredded or loose fill inside, this pack will add firmness and loft to it. It’s designed and density-matched for Aricove pillows, so results in other pillows depend on what’s already in there. If you’re topping up a pillow you’re not entirely happy with, it may be worth seeing what a fully adjustable one does instead.
